Our 1x Western Red Cedar is #2 & Better, with no hole/no prior select grade. This grade allows for primarily sound tight knots that are uniform in size. Wane and unsound knots are highly restricted. The actual size is ¾” thick and the finish is S1S2E (smooth on one side, two edges).

Our 2x Western Red Cedar is Standard & Better grade. This grade allows for no holes and very limited heart centers. Wane and loose knots are highly restricted and the finish is S4S (smooth four sides).
